What we will need

Please be ready to identify yourself and your agency, state the legal basis for the request, and describe precisely what is sought and for what period.

We disclose information where we are legally obliged to do so and where the request is valid on its face. We will say so if we consider a request too broad.

If there is a risk to life, say so at the start of the call so it can be escalated immediately.
