Why we publish this

Institutions have spent a decade being de-risked with little explanation. Publishing where we stand means a prospective client can tell early whether a relationship is realistic, instead of finding out after months of onboarding.

Our approach

We assess a relationship on the substance of the business: what it does, where its money comes from and goes to, who controls it, and whether it can evidence that. We would rather understand an unusual business properly than decline an entire category.

Equally, we would rather decline at the outset than accept and withdraw later. A withdrawal is far more damaging to a client than a clear no.
