SWIFT
Reach beyond local payment rails.
What SWIFT is
SWIFT is the messaging network banks use to instruct each other across borders. It is how a payment reaches a country or currency that local rails do not cover, and it is the fallback behind most international transfers.
Our intended approach
Local rails are faster and cheaper where they exist, so we intend to use them by default and reach for SWIFT where they stop rather than the other way round.
