Every movement of money should be reconstructable after the fact: what was instructed, what happened, when, and on whose authority.

Designed for the operations team

Most of the cost of a payment system is not the payment. It is the reconciliation, the exception handling and the reporting around it. We are building those in from the start rather than adding them once volume exposes the gap.
